EcoEYE

I built EcoEYE during a hackathon: an environmental monitoring mesh dashboard that brings a map, incoming data, and alerts into one interface.

The build uses simulated ingestion, not deployed environmental monitoring.

Putting readings in context

A measurement is easier to interpret when you can connect it to a place and see whether it needs attention. EcoEYE explores that relationship through a dashboard. The map provides a spatial view, ingestion brings example data into the interface, and alerting highlights conditions in the demonstration.

The monitoring interface

Think of the dashboard as the viewing end of a monitoring system. Its job is to make incoming information legible. A map and an alert offer different ways into the same information: where something is happening, and what deserves a closer look.

In EcoEYE, these interactions use simulated data. The alerts demonstrate dashboard behavior rather than report real environmental events.

A hackathon prototype

EcoEYE is a prototype of that interface. It sits alongside my agent-coordination work as a different kind of build: one puts information on a map, while the other organizes coding work. Both involve making a process easier to follow and inspect.
