AI tooling for e-commerce ops

Some of my marketing work happens behind the storefront, in the structured files used to manage advertising. My applied AI-tooling work includes Amazon advertising bulk-file optimization for ShoeRepairGlue.

My role: Marketing Director, ShoeRepairGlue.com. I handle marketing across Amazon and Shopify.

The work behind an ad

Advertising bulk files put campaign information and proposed changes into a format that can be handled together. That is useful when the work extends beyond a single ad, but it also makes the reach of a change important. Before applying a set of changes, it helps to understand which records they affect and whether they match the intended task.

My involvement

This work supports the brand’s marketing through bulk-file optimization. It is applied tooling work, not an original software release. Third-party software remains the work of its creators.

A practical use for AI tooling

Structured files give a review something concrete to examine. A useful way to assess a proposed change is to compare the original record, the suggested edit, and the reason for it. That keeps the question close to the task: what would change, and why?

This is the operational side of my project work, alongside building agent systems and comparing model outputs. The setting is different, but there is still a need to connect an output to a decision someone can understand.
